Gavin Bias is a native of Boone County and a graduate of Scott High School. He is currently a Presidential Scholar at the University of Charleston, where he is pursuing a degree in Business Administration as well as Marketing. Gavin serves as School of Business Representative for the Student Government Association and maintains a 3.8 GPA. He is also an active member of Future Business Leaders of America and has earned first place in a workforce trends competition.
Outside of academics, Gavin is heavily involved in community service and local development efforts. He serves on the Accelerate Madison committee, helping plan and implement community improvement projects throughout Boone County. Gavin has experience in photography, videography, social media marketing, and event production, and has worked on projects for local businesses, nonprofits, and community organizations. He is passionate about economic development, small business growth, and finding ways to strengthen the communities he calls home.
